The ART EXHIBITION was an event to show case body of works created during the period of the ART RETREAT, on FRIDAY 31st August, 2012 by 12pm at the OLUMO ROCK, ABEOKUTA. It was a wonderful experience for the art teachers.

ART TEACHERS ON THE STREET AGAINST CHILD ABUSE

On the fourth day of the ART RETREAT, the Art teachers took to the street to campaign against Child abuse. They were at SAPON POST OFFICE by 9am to engage in VISUAL EXPRESSION to capture the issues of child abuse, using their ART works as a springboard for social change and a tool for the campaign against CHILD LABOUR.... Art teachers on the STREET campaigning against CHILD ABUSE through VISUAL EXPRESSION and PERFORMING ART.... ...they are indeed ART TEACHERS with a difference, they were there for a CHANGE and they indeed made the difference. VIRTUAL VISIBILITY WITH OLUSEGUN ADENIYI

...The Art teachers savoured gracefully the session for ICT & Digital appliances as a tool for of marketing, documentation, and branding; and projecting the students works on the e-community through virtual portfolio.... The essence was to get the art instructors acquainted with the latest technology as to enhance teaching and learning. It is apparent for all teachers to get equipped with the ICT know how and abreast with the current trend in technology advancement in relation to ART education.

EXPLORING THE INDIGENIOUS MATERIALS WITH JOHN ADENLE

Mr. Adenle took the art teachers into exploration of difference media at the just concluded ART RETREAT for the ART TEACHERS.
