EVERY 3rd Saturday of the month, TEACHING VISUAL ART is inviting the talented children to join the CHILDREN ART CLUB at Olumo Rock (The Cultural and Musical Heritage Centre) to nurture their artistic talent, inspire their creative minds and introduce them to variety of media. The CHILDREN ART CLUB is a creative haven for every talented child irrespective of their status and social background to help them harness, maximize and express unhindered their God's given potentials in a serene environment that inspire creativity.
The project is to grant the talented children the access to the best, most-stimulating and most-rewarding artistic engagements that includes;
(i) Creative expression through drawing, mosaic, collage, painting, sculpture, wearable art, graffiti, and many more.
(ii) Share art ideas with their peers.
(iii) Hands-on workshops with diverse studio artists and art educators.
(iv) Building portfolio and Participating in national and international Art contests.
(v) Showcase their talents and skills through Art Exhibitions.
(vi) Virtual documentation of the children's Art works and media exposure.
On Saturday 17th January, 2015, the TEACHING VISUAL ART in collaboration with OLUMO ART MOVEMENT held the maiden edition of the CHILDREN ART CLUB for the talented kids in Ogun State, Nigeria. The children had a wonderful time exploring the visual expression with seasoned Art instructors and artists.

UPDATE: The children from the CHILDREN ART CLUB will be attending this year edition of the TOYOTA's Dream Car Art Competition and stand the chance of visiting Japan for the finale. This is to fulfill our promise to prepare the member children of the CHILDREN ART CLUB for national and international Art competitions.
