ART EDUCATORS' HANGOUT held on 28th June, 2020


Last Sunday 28th June, 2020 was another inspiring moment at the Art Educators’ Hangout. Mr Olugbenga Oladimeji, SNA Chairman, Ogun State Chapter presented the topic: Rediscovery lost Heroes in Pre-Nigeria Art Education. This was a very important presentation, an African Art story being told by an African Art educator. The second presenter, Prince Olusegun Adeniyi presented the topic: The Adventure of an Art Teacher.
Creativity is contagious, when we share our creative works, we open others for more inspiring creative engagements. Art Educators’ Hangout is to foster dialogue and sharing stimulating art projects to improve creativity and art appreciation with the vision to build network of art educators across the continent of Africa that are locally relevant and influential with global perspective.

Art Educators Hangout held on Sunday 21st June, 2020


We had another great moment on Sunday 21st June, 2020 at the Art Educators Hangout.
Mr Segun Olude from Canada presented the topic: 21st Century Art Teacher’s Character and Capacity Building in Art Education.
Another wonderful presentation from Dr. Samia Ahmed Mostafa El Sheikh, the Vice President of InSEA and past world council regional representatives for InSEA Africa & Middle East region. She shared her recent collection of works: “SHE, from their EYES” mixed media with hand weaving re-contextualizing famous portrait through history.
The third presenter, Merna Meyer shared with us about the SSASEA UNESCO Arts Education Conference coming up in South Africa later this year.
