2015 UNESCO International Arts Education Week: NIGERIAN ART TEACHERS VIRTUAL EXHIBITION




Art education is a dynamic tool for growth in our developing world and there are not words as powerful as a single drawing, painting, mural, craft, photography, graffiti or graphics. The virtual Art exhibition is to celebrate the UNESCO International Arts Education Week with the theme, ART EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Art evolves, fashion evolves. In this work, daily chores of a rural woman's life is portrayed using textile style motifs intertwined. Eniyan laso o mi ,, means people are my clothing literately, we are what we are worth by the value of friends we have.. same way clothes cover our nakedness. Thus art is never useful if not functional.
